Our blog assignment for Week 2 of the BSG Challenge this month is to blog about the following questions:
1. Do you have plans to travel anywhere or plans to go visit anyone this summer?
2. How do you plan to keep you fitness and eating right going while you travel?
So far my travel plans include a short weekend trip June 27 and June 28 to see the Miss Oregon competition in Seaside, Oregon. For that trip I will be traveling alone and plan to get in lots of walking while I am there. I will also be taking my own food for at least breakfast and lunch so I shouldn't have a problem staying on track.
Then on June 30th I leave to fly to my daughter's. On July 1st she, her son and I will be driving to Phoenix, Arizona where we will stay until July 5th. For that portion of the trip we are staying at a resort that has lots of activities included in it. Plus they are both very active so I am sure we will do other things as well, maybe biking or hiking. We have rented a room with a kitchenette so we don't have to eat out so much. We all eat fairly healthy so I should have a problem staying on track there either. We will also be seeing her daughter while we are there as she recently moved to Phoenix.
Then on July 5th we drive back to my daughter's where I will stay until July 8th.
So, all in all, I think I have staying on track pretty well covered.
