Hello Everyone,

Thank to all of you who continue to read my blogs. I don't really have anything to talk about. Now that Cricket is gone, I don't have much cat news. All of my other cats are not doing anything to 'make the news.' Cricket was the one who was always with me following me around and wanting fresh food every 30 minutes. The others were extremely well fed because he didn't eat the food, he just wanted it served to him. They would eat some of the food, and since Cricket was the 'beggar' the others never had to show any signs of hunger. It is amazing that none of them are overweight because in order to get something down Cricket, there was always an entire buffet of food available. Dry food, canned wet food, pouches of wet food, tuna, and treats.

One of my cats, Max, will only eat dry food for his meals, and Cricket, Kobe, and Jade would eat tuna occasionally. Max, Jade, and Kobe all love treats, but I mainly only bought those to try to get Cricket to eat something. I also bought the pouches and served them to Cricket. He never ate the food in the pouches but he would lick all of the gravy off the food. Chloe and Freedom will eat both dry and wet food. None of the cats will eat food if it has been out for more than an hour. So, I pour all of the leftover dry food in containers and serve it to the 'night creatures.' The 'night creatures' are any pet or stray that might be wandering around out back, raccoons, squirrels, deer, fox, and possums or maybe others that I don't know about. Whatever, the food is always gone in the mornings, so something is eating it.

I hope you all have a GREAT TUESDAY! I am out of here for now to watch the rest of the NBA game. Take care, and keep in touch. Thank you for all that you do!

HUGS
Pam

I loved reading about your picky pets. Our chinchillas are the same. They don't like the same food or treats. It keeps us busy feeding them.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my cat this past November. Our kitty's become like children to us. I still miss my Banner who I often called my puppy kitty. He was always flowing me around and I miss meeting him in the bathroom where he would greet me every morning.
I have one kitty left, Mercy and she has picked up where her brother left behind.
I pray God comforts you at this time.

Awwww, the loss of Cricket is still raw for you, and that's totally understandable. You did the best you could and ARE doing the best for your other kitties.

HUGS sweetie.

My goodness, you must spend a small fortune, feeding your cats and the 'night creatures'! My Simon eats only dry food, and I give him some treats after he takes his meds twice a day.
I know how much you must miss Cricket.

Hugs, Leslie emoticon
