My Diabetic Cat, Part 2

Sunday, May 11, 2014

So I've given Mac 4 shots now.

I'm okay with injecting him now, but he is not happy about it! I had to poke him twice this morning, because I couldn't do the inject part when he was struggling. The poking doesn't seem to bug him that much, but he usually squeaks when I inject him, then I feel nasty.

I don't think he is drinking as much now though, and I haven't found any of his "biblical floods" in the cat box. However, he is still having trouble with his back legs. My Dad says it will take a while for his blood sugar to stabilize (my Dad is diabetic so he knows lots about it).

How horrible for both of you I am so sorry.
Have you added any cat walks to your shared home?
Something to add fun jumping and exploring activities?
