I've really been struggling with the diabetes. My sugars have been too high, and I'm just sluggish. I'm a teacher, and by this time of the year, we're all tired.
I'm chipping away at it, though. I started a 4-week "Dining with Diabetes" class on Thursday, and I've been eating relatively healthy. I did overeat a few times this week, but at least on healthy foods. :-)
I also took a walk every day during my lunch break. Not much, but better than nothing.
Today, I dropped off the car for an oil change, and during that time, I went for an hour-long walk downtown, along the riverwalk, with the birds chirping and the sun shining. Now I made an omelet with salmon and spinach.
Once the outdoor pool at the athletic club opens, I'll do much better in terms of fitness.
