What a crazy world!!

Friday, May 09, 2014

I have thought about dating, but I go through the pictures and the idea of having coffee with someone just seems kind of like work. And then it is time to close out that window.

What would I do on a date besides coffee? My therapist said " The sky is the limit". He is wrong. Not being able to drink and having to watch my weight kind of leaves just about everything off the table. He mentioned hiking. Well, that would be great if we didn't live in a dirty desert and it didn't involve bugs, etc. And there is nothing good to see around here. Then I started reading about sober people having sex, and no one had anything good to say about those experiences.

American ads put up all this social eating and other food ads. But if you eat like that and eat that food, you won't be able to wear the clothes in the other ads. HOW INSANE IS THAT?

I think I will pass on the dating. It is bad enough that I am suffering through this. No need to make someone else suffer too.

I can eat out. It is just why bother. Ordering is difficult and then most of the time I am disappointed when it gets to me. If I make it myself, I avoid that.

As for the sex, maybe they are. But I guess it is more about my anxiety as to it would never happen. I guess it is all for the best.

Wow, honey, if you're suffering through weight loss you're doing it totally wrong. Paleo has some of the best food choices on the planet! I eat out all the time.

Sure, you can only have one glass of wine if you're trying to lose fat, but like Miss Sofi said, sober people have great sex - no boozy haze to deaden the senses!

I don't think you should force yourself to date if you're not interested or ready. I'm sure there are plenty of sober people having great sex too. emoticon
