ME TIME

Well I do admit I don't always get me time but when I do I savor it!

The best me time for myself is having the house all to my self (a rare event) and just enjoying the peace and quiet.

I also love reading as me time. I do get some me time each morning when I do my prayer and Bible study. This helps me make it through the day.

I enjoy reading other things too. Reading engages my mind totally an in doing so gets my mind off everything!

I will admit I have let myself get frazzled these last couple of days but that is my fault for not controlling how I reacted to things and not getting enough rest.

So I would say for the most part I do get me time, could I use a bit more some days, definitely yes!

What to do about it... schedule it of course!

    I totally agree..love having the house to myself. I can actually get stuff done, or just sit down uninterrupted if I want to! Enjoy!

    Yeah, getting adequate sleep/rest is essential for dealing with stress! I love your me time. I tell people that reading is essential to my health and wellbeing, because it really is. Even when grad school is at it's most insane, I was typically reading at least a little every day.
