I find myself (and my co-planner in our group) doing some party planning at work again. So how I missed the part of my job description that said this was part of my job.
But it's OK...it shows that the powers that be trust me to do this. I'm also in the pre planning stages for a trip to the park for just my dept (that's like 25 of us). This Friday though...were having a BBQ here at work (yeah..we have a gas grill in the courtyard that anyone can reserve and use) to use the left over burgers and hot dogs (all in the freezer and safe!) from the big event we had last week. I'll go with another coworker to pick up some more buns (we have some but only about half of the amount of meat), some chips, and maybe a platter of cookies. All on top of doing my work on the three projects I have going. Busy, busy, busy!
And next week I have a meeting with all Las Vegas Event committee.
So eating was OK yesterday..oh crap..forgot to log for dinner last night. Better do that before I forget what I ate!
Eating has been on track so far today (but then during the day isn't my problem..nights are!). And I got 60 mins or so in on the treadmill today in the gym. I still need to get active at home though. Esp with our trip coming up. I know the hotel in Honolulu has a gym..but really..come on...I'll be in Hawaii...in Waikiki...why would I NEED a gym when I have a whole beach to walk on? Right?
We'll be staying for at the Hale Koa for a week. We have a room with a partial ocean view (means we can set on the balcony and watch the surfers!) Here's what it looks like:
It's when we go to Hilo that I need to figure out what to do for a work out. I can't just walk there (at my MIL place) as there's a really busy two lane highway that traffic is just brutal on. No walking there. I'll have to see what else I can do. Because..you know...I'll be eating a lot of good Hawaiian food.
So I guess that will do it for this Hump Day. Have a great one ya'll!!
