Quick Update

Wednesday, May 07, 2014

Yesterday I took the day off from work. I had dental surgery and thought that I could use the rest of the day to work at my mother's house. Didn't happen.
I went down there early to pack the car with things for Salvation Army. They take a lot and I wanted to get it out of the house. Of course, they don't help you upload it so I was dragging these boxes around.
My dental surgery went well but the doctor told me to rest the rest of the day and I was bummed. The dumpster arrived and I was ready to go to town. I hadn't slept well the night before so I laid around and watched TV and dozed. I am home again today and plan to run down to the house shortly and pack up a few more things as the contractor is suppose to start ripping up the carpet today.
I have one more place to call today to see if they will take the bedroom set or it'll be going in the dumpster. emoticon
Want to get in a good walk/workout today. My weight is creeping up. Of course, the ice cream that I had to eat yesterday after the surgery didn't help. emoticon

Have a good day!

You are doing great at keeping up with everything. Good for you!

We have "Survival Centers" here that accept donations. There is also Goodwill. If Salvation Army doesn't want something, check around. There might be another place that will.
