" Never memorize what you can look up in books. " Albert Einstein

There are thousands of gadgets and gizmos and ideas that make our lives easier and richer are you using them?

Are you using the food , fitness, and spark tracker here ? When you are stuck do you look here for exercise demos or ideas? Have you used the recipe guide ?

Yesterday we went to buy almost mature lettuce, kale and swiss chard plants for the garden. So my exercise routine was pushed back later . I almost didn't go it looked like rain. But what things look like and are, are often two different things. So now it was time for a late supper. Enter precooked 100 calorie grilled chicken breast, a pita some lettuce, tomato, and cheese.

I also had a smoothie banana , blueberries, blackberries , greek yogurt , almond milk and whey powder with vitamins, I was full . Then I did some research and sparktime on the computer, and watched some shows I taped on the dvr. After a nice shower.

Now it was eight and I was hungry again. Enter the bag of chips my son left on the counter. Yeah I had a couple but I also made a box of healthy weight, frozen vegetables. Seeing I walked for 31 minutes today and did my p90x3 eccentric upper exercises it was time to call it a day. Don't be afraid to use gadgets and gizmos to get where you want and need to be. Hugs happiness and healthy living.

This is an excellent blog! emoticon for taking the time to share it with us.

However, I disagree with the Einstein statement --- do I dare say that Einstein was dead wrong? Yes, I do! emoticon

This gal doesn't want to have to depend on having a book handy, when memory serves much better. I am mainly thinking of Bible verses that are such a blessing to have right ready to share. Still, a good cook needs recipes memorized, rather than relying on cookbooks or even the Internet to look them up. Isn't it better to have the spelling of words memorized than to have to stop & look up the spelling? I think so!

I truly believe that lack of memorization skills is, in part, responsible for such poor tests results in the schools across our nation.

Memorization is good brain exercise, too!

God bless!
