Up a pound. Grrr ...

I'm up a full pound over last week's weigh in despite being faithful to the program. So annoying!! But since there's no logical FOOD INTAKE reason for this to have happened, I'm going to keep on keepin' on and ignore it.

I experienced hot flashes for the first time last night. Wow, those aren't fun. Perimenopause is a definite pain in the butt!! I wonder if crazy hormones are to blame for the extra pound this week.

I'm starting to get a little worried about my goal of being under 200 lbs by my birthday, May 25th. As of today's numbers, I'm about 7 lbs away. I don't know if my body will give up 7 lbs in three weeks or not! Especially with my period hitting somewhere in there, too, and the massive weight gain the week before that happens. I guess we'll see!

    I was up last week, too and like you I was FRUSTRATED because I couldn't see the reason why. That I realized I had added a kickboxing class to my workout and was likely retaining some water for healing muscle. Still those scale hiccups are not fun.

It very likely is hormonal (hormones be trippin') Just keep going! You are doing great! You might reach your goal but even if you don't look how far you have come! Happy Birthday to you (I'm a May baby too... birthday is Friday) emoticon

    I can relate....
perimenapause.. period weight gain messing weight up for more than just those 6 days.... emoticon emoticon

Weigh yourself tomorrow and I bet that pound is gone :)
