Day of rest and Nascar

Sunday, May 04, 2014

We worked hard yesterday and got most everything done. We did not go boat riding hopefully this evening. One boat is cleaned up and a buyer is coming this week hopefully to get. The other is cleaned up and ready to launch for our summer fun. Instead of riding in the boat we went to Bass Pro Shop and bought new doc bumpers to protect the new boat, a new towable tube (they are not cheep) and walked through the RV show they were having. Some nice rigs but some I just didn't get the floor plans. We had a 5th wheel rig and loved it. We sold it when Katrina hit and I had the car accident and we just didn't enjoy it as much. Now we are thinking about another...maybe. I really liked our old layout except I would like the tub set up I saw in this new one yesterday. We are really just entertaining this right now. By the time we got home I had all my steps for the day and was worn out in a good way. I am still tired this morning but have a day of rest and racing in mind so it's just what I need!

For now, I am up early and have my prayer time. I awoke with the thought and giving thanks that although we are not having church service due to race, I do still have God. He walks with me daily and I can still meet with him from home or anywhere for that matter. I pray you to have such a relationship with God in your life!

My dad loves the Bass Pro Shop, and he never gets out of there spending less than $125. He just finds all kinds of things he can use in his motorhome, and he also loves to golf and fish, so you can just imagine the field day he has, each and every time, he goes there!

Oh yes, I love the relationship you have with God, and I too, have such a close and powerful relationship with Him, also. I don't move without my Daddy talking to me and letting me know what He wants me to do, or what He wants to do. It was a long hard road to get to this point, but I wouldn't change a single, solitary thing! I don't know how to live any other way!

Be blessed,
