21 DSD round 2

Sunday, May 04, 2014

Another round:) I think so! Just saw on Instagram that the lovely lady behind The 21 Day Sugar Detox is kicking off another round of 21 DSD. It is basically strict paleo eating. For 3 weeks you cut out sugar, wheat, and dairy. You can look for meal ideas on Instagram and Twitter by searching for Balanced Bites. There are also two resource books available on Amazon: The 21 Day Sugar Detox and The 21 Day Sugar Detox cookbook.
This time around I am staying off the scale, no batteries:) So I will be judging progress by how my clothes fit.
Anyone else up for a good challenge?

Only 12 miles left til I hit 1100:) Running and kayaking today:) Hopefully I get close!
Happy Sunday!

I am doing the Whole Life Challenge right now, which is pretty similar - strict paleo plus no sugar. The no sugar is killing me! I just want some chocolate!

You are doing an amazing job with your miles - kayaking sounds fun - where are you going?

I might do the next round of the detox - I planned to start my detox after Mother's Day. I was going to do the Virgin Diet by JJ Virgin - very similar to what you noted - but she eliminates peanuts and soy as well.
