I awoke early after again tossing and turning awhile..It is one of the things to deal with with fibromyalgia. Fits and starts sleep.

My rheumatologist told me that at diagnosis. Ironically, I sleep in a near-coma when it is raining. IF it is a bad storm, I can barely be awakened. Not sure if that has to do with birth(amniotic fluid sounds?,,my mother walking in the rain?, whatever, during gestation), but it always frustrated the heck out of my husband! HE and Dd were awake all night in a storm, they could not get me awake!! The best rest I ever get!

I am still not feeling great today,, defrosting a chicken for soup. feel draggged out and scared to eat much.

We are going to try to get deck swept off and BBQ grill onto it today.. it is hard to find a day that it is not raining to do it.. Misting last night..

We're having lots of rain today, too.

I don't know a whole lot about Fibromyalgia. But i ahve a friend who has it. She was in a trial study at Oregon Health and Science University. She participated in a diet to see if it helps Fibro. It did and she went into remission. Do some diet research on it and find out what you can. I feel for you I know it's painful for you. I ahd RA really bad myself before the MG diagnosis and the IVIG i get has taken that severe pain away. Hugs

Oooh. I like the idea of having storm sounds to sleep by! I'm the opposite in storms - I don't think it is the sound so much as the change in barometric pressure - it makes me especially achy.

I wonder if there is a way for your DD to tape record the sounds of the next Thunderstorm for you to play (on repeat) on nice evenings and see if that helps you sleep better? Sort of a lullabye just for you.

Hope the chicken soup helps you to feel better. Rainy and cool down in our neck of the woods and I haven't even taken the new BBQ out of the box to put it together yet.

Take care!

Sure hope you feel better. You should consider a sound machine app. I used to use one and still do from time to time. I used the free app, "SleepMachine". I hope you have a great day. BBQ sounds great. We have not used the outside grill in years. No weather excuses for us though. HUGS!
