My husband Jim’s story poem entitled PAIN begins:
“Pain? I must admit it is no stranger in my life. It has called on me many times before…very often with its partners anger, jealousy and strife.” (pp. 214-215, FOUR SCORE AND MORE, Snowfall Press, 2014)
Physical ailments and diseases of many kinds cause chronic pain.

There is also the affliction most of us dread…the pain of mental and emotional distress.

Everyone has pain of one kind or another in this life.

Loss is so very hard

We just want to push it all away

Then we remember that we can pray...

Thank you for this insightful message!
It reminded me of the pain Jesus suffered for us, because Our Heavenly Father loves us that much... to give His Only Begotten Son as a propriation for our sins. So we can come to the Father threw His son.
It is a reminder of how some pain is for a reason.
I really needed to focus on this instead of my physical-pain!
Thank you for your obdience to God in sharing this message!
Blessings& Hugs^ j^ emoticon
