I love the month of May. It is my birth month, we are almost done with school, I can walk to the gym when it's not raining, and I can run and walk the pups outside more!
Outside snack time also occurs! The light at the end of the tunnel is so bright right now for school. It helps that I am counting by weeks instead of days:) Single digits, baby!
My challenges have been going great so far!
*Creating new recipes has been fun! My hubby made a BBQ sauce that I have been eating on almost everything! So spicy and smokey:) I have also brought hummus back into the rotation :) Lots of veggies consumed this week!
*Getting those runs in! I have been running more back to back days which I have never done. I feel so good and strong:) Posture is good and means I won't have injuries. I have been foam rolling more regularly also:) NO INJURIES!
*Staying off the scale:) It's week three and things have been going really well. I have been tempted to check, but resist. I talked with my hubby about incorporating some new snacks into the rotation also. More chicken and veggies to come for this month:) Less Quest Bars:) Good for the wallet too:)
Other than that totally counting down the days til summer freedom. The kids are crazy, the adults are crazy, and I want my long gym time back:) BRING ON JUNE 17th!!
1106 miles for the year! 1100 is right around the corner:)
