Day 950... Just 50 days to go

I think I can see day 1,000 on the horizon! I think I can safely say that exercise (well, cardio anyways) has become a habit for me. I hate days when I don't walk and/or run at least 10 miles. Lately I have been averaging closer to 30 miles a day. I had been attempting to dial back a little, but the last four days I really blew that out of the water. Tomorrow and Saturday I will be otherwise occupied, so maybe I will succeed in taking two rest days, but I won't hold my breath. LOL!

So, I started May with a long walk with my niece and Cooper this morning. Took a break to go to an Advisory Board meeting, then (after picking up Cooper) went for a 4.6 mile run. The hills might not be big, but they still kill me. I try to sprint up them, so they are over sooner. emoticon I also took a short spin on the stationary bike, paced in my apartment, and did a little ST and yoga.

I made turkey bacon BLTs for dinner for my neighbor and me. They provided lunch at the meeting I went to, and it wasn't bad. I have inspired the board chair to order healthier food these days, so she ordered salads from Bob Evans with the dressing on the side. I love when people cater to me healthy habits! emoticon emoticon
