grand daughter woes

Thursday, May 01, 2014

Ok I know we are not suppose to love one child over another and I don't but there is always that one child that you click with. My daughters oldest girl, Kassy and I have always been close. We laugh a lot and sing a lot and have loads in common. Well Saturday night I was at my Mom's (it is my month to stay with her) and we had my two small grandsons there for us to babysit. Well Kassy and her sis and a cousin can to visit. Well Kassy has this dumb idea that because she is very smart that she knows everything about everything. Well I was rocking the baby(18 months) and he was crying and she snatched him up and went out on the cold porch and he was screaming and she said leave us a lone and I will calm him down. He would not calm down so I took him and she said I am going home and she has not spoke to me since. Now was I wrong? It is like she sees the boys a lot and he was not bothering anyone .

Did anyone figure out why that toddler was crying so badly?
Grandmas can usually find a way to soothe a crying child.

Your Kassy will be alright, she was probably showing off for her friend... emoticon
