Finally feeling better

Monday, April 28, 2014

I have been feeling off and coughing for two weeks now and finally yesterday I took my first really good walk. I met someone walking in the other direction......he said" you are really trucking." He saw me when I started. Made me feel good and encouraged me to continue.
My roses are going crazy! But the daffodils are all gone. The fruit trees are in bloom and I have some small asian pears on my tree. Got the tomatoes in and pulled off the stalks on the onions.
They are getting bigger bulbs but wont be bigger till june.
But I use them so I have room for more tomatoes. Need to figure out how to get my phone photos to the computer so I will be able to share my garden... It is small but good exercise.

I wish I could garden. I was born with two black thumbs. My grandfather had green thumbs, he could bring a dead plant back to life! Me, I can't get anything to grow. I ordered blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, and started them in starter pots, and nothing is coming up after a week. I was hoping this would be my year, but I will go get some more plants already started and see if I can't get something growing. Good luck with yours! And gardening is good exercise.

How lovely to have such a garden!
Spring is finally established in my neck of the woods, and we're getting the early flowers.

1st of all great family picture. The baby is getting big so fast as they always do. Don't blink!

Glad you are feeling better. You must be since you were really walking fast.

I didn't know Asian pears grew around there. That's how much I know about gardening. LOL

    Thanks for the update.
