It's a rainy day today so hubby and I are working on inside projects today. As we work, we chat. He is a chemist for a paint and coatings company. I struggled to understand chemistry in high school, avoided taking it in college and now I learn about it in a practical way from hubby. He was talking about meetings he has coming up, damage control with a specific company. The product the company is using isn't working properly, preventing corrosion. Hubby says, " what people have to remember is that everything in our world is trying to return to a state of equilibrium chemically, in other words substances like steel, are trying to return to their original form of mineral or gas.

A state of equilibrium....people need that too right?

Is that the state next door. Mine's in a mess getting ready for a rummage sale. Why do people keep buying the same stuff and giving it away to charity?

I struggled with chemistry, too. And I find that every once in awhile, someone comes along and puts it in simple terms that make sense. Where were these people when I needed them? Oh, to have a state of equilibrium.

Everything needs a balance, a natural state. People are their own worst enemy, individually and globally. At least that is how I see it from my view in life.
