We're trying to relax a little this afternoon before our evening worship service. It sounds like the evening could be filled with some difficult weather. While we need the rain, I hope that things don't get too crazy around here this evening.

On the bright side, if we have to take shelter, our church is one of the designated spots in our small community.

Hopefully, we won't need to go other than for our evening activities.

I have to say the Lord was really good to me yesterday and today by keeping me out of harms way. My DH wanted me to cancel my trip to see my mom because of the weather warnings. She has Alzheimer's and I had already promised her that I would be down to see her this weekend. I had hard rain at the beginning of my journey but I drove out of it and then there was nothing but sunshine on the way back! HE answered my prayers for safety and got me there and back with no problems. emoticon

They're predicting some nasty weather in our area, too! Praying you and yours all stay safe! What better place to ride out a storm than the Lord's House!
