I think it's funny that the last time I wrote a blog, I was headed to a shower. Today's shower is for my best friend, and much less work than the last one. I don't have as much to do; I think this MOH has a better planning system than the other one.
I am headed to the gym in a little bit. Yesterday was a run day, today is a strength training day. Then it's off to pick up the food and a couple last minute shower things... it's going to be a busy morning!
Yesterday's run was awesome. I had my best pace yet - a 5-mile run with an average pace of 9:12 minutes per mile. I guess whatever I'm doing must be paying off! I have my 10-mile race in a week, my first race since last May's half-marathon.
- drink tons of water
- mindful eating (which shouldn't be too hard - I think everything at the shower is going to have meat or cheese in it, so the only thing I can eat is going to be the stuff that I bring)
- work hard at the gym
