Another week gone by and the scale is still not budging. Sugar. That's what mom used to say instead of $#@! HAH!
I have been out walking everyday. I would have liked to do more than just two strength work outs but that's all there was time for. Have been working on my pushups doing a few before bed every night.
The exercise, I enjoy so its never a problem. Its just finding the right foods. I was discussing with DH that I need to go back and eliminate some foods again. I have been having stomach problems this week and its because every evening meal has contained bread. or pasta. I don't eat those things for breakfast or lunch because I have more control over those meals. But with the hours I have been putting in at work he has been cooking dinner alot and its hard to be finicky.
This 2nd week was easier to avoid snacks. It seems my stomach has gotten used to the idea of 3 squares.
I have also taken up marking my calender with green and red;
green checks for successful eating days and
red x's for mistake days. I keep it by my bed and check it off each night. So even on the days when I don't feel like logging in to track my progress, i have a concrete visual that's totally wireless.
And last but not least...
I used part of my health insurance incentive cash to purchase the eatsmart bodyfat scale.
