I took a rest day yesterday, and thought about taking another one today, but it didn't turn out that way. Took Cooper for a long walk this morning, then walked him two more times, as well as doing a little ST, yoga, some time on the rower and stationary bike. It wasn't as much as I have been doing, but it was still more than a rest day. I didn't go for a run though. It was just a little too chilly for short sleeves, but too warm for my fleece jacket. At least it wasn't snowing!
I have nothing scheduled for tomorrow, but I think I might make a trip to the library. Other than that it will be three dog walks, and whatever else strikes my fancy. That usually means the rower, ST and yoga.
I have been eating the same thing for breakfast every morning... Greek yogurt and a banana. It has plenty of protein, which helps keep me full. I made the mistake of weighing myself at night yesterday. If I believed that number then I lost 5 pounds overnight when I weighed myself this morning. The amazing shrinking woman, that is who I am. LOL! I think it actually had more to do with the fact I had just drank 4 glasses of water when I weighed myself last night.
I think I am going to dial back a little on my exercise for a few days. Not enough to jeopardize my fitness streak, but just enough to let myself breathe a little. I need to let up a little bit every now and then, or I start to feel a little burnt out. I am averaging about 6 hours of exercise a day this week, which is a bit much. 3 hours a day should be plenty.
