Well, it's been a rough 10 months, there's no doubt about that, but I think I've finally found my stride! Back in July, I lost 14 pounds, and then gained it all back plus some after several deaths and other stressors in my life... but, I'm happy to report that I'm now 1.1 pounds lighter than I was at my lowest weight back in July! (Even more exciting, my measurements are about 9 inches less overall than they were in July -- Welcome aboard, muscle!!)
I've done three 5k's, upped my over-all activity, cut toxic people from my life and all in all am SO much better now than when I started almost a year ago. I would have liked to have made more progress, but as I sit here today, I can say that I finally feel ready for the rest of the weight to come off.
Just over a month ago, I finally fully committed to eating according to the Primal Blueprint diet and it has done truly incredible things, just in that short amount of time. A couple of days ago was the first time my husband has ever spontaneously said "Wow, you look like you've lost weight!" Why, yes! Yes, I have!
I can't WAIT to see what next month brings.
Also, to celebrate my birthday tomorrow, I'll be doing my first 10k over the weekend!
