Day 2 of this 68 Day Challenge wasn't so bad. BUT what i have learned is that because i burn so many calories in the evening because that's when i'm walking or running i am STARVING by the time i get home. I cook a healthy meal, but within an hour of eating it i'm hungry again. I need to go and pick up some fruit and veggies so that i can snack on that verses making a second meal.
April 23, 2014 was day 2:
I ate roughly 3260 calories
I burned roughly 3360 calories
I walked 5.06 miles
So almost 1200 of those calories were after midnight. I woke up around 1am and my tummy was growling. So what do i do? I eat like 7 cookies and drink some milk. UGH...obviously my sleepiness trumped my brain in saying what i should and should not be eating. BUT i will say this...i am a daily weigher and my scale has been showing a lower number from the previous day everyday since last week Monday. So i've learned and i need to go shopping.
Before: sitting in my car...in the air conditioning...wondering how hard this walk will be in the heat...it was 86 degrees!
During: I took this picture as i was walking and while i was in the shade...it felt like such relief in the shade...
After: such relief to back to the air conditioned car...

Starting Weight: 319.8lbs
4/21/14 264.8lbs (-3.0lbs)
Since i am a daily weigher here's what the scale has read this week:
I know these numbers will fluctuate. My official weighins will be every Monday.
What are my goals for day 2?
* walk 4 miles
* strength train for 30 minutes
* eat under 2000 calories
* burn around 3000 calories
(I use a fitbit so those calories burned are my calories burned for a 24hr period of time NOT just during my workouts)
