As part of the Tenacious Jungle Tiger initial introduction for BLC25, I'm posting here the ABCs of ME....

A is for ABOVE and BEYOND...Does competition give you an extra push?
Yes, knowing others are watching my results causes me to want to do more & do better

B is for BLC rounds... Newbie?(first BLC round) Oldie?(1-3 rounds) Goldie?(long time BLCer)? Former BLC team(s)?
Goldie…5yrs; Same team but 2 dif names – latest Fabulous Fiesty Foxes

C is for CHILDREN...you have?
None in residence; DS#s 1, 2 & 3, DD#1; GDS#s 1 & 2; GDD#1; AZGrandma to a few families with non-resident grand-parents

D is for DOWNFALL...what's you're biggest temptation/excuse?
Food Temptation: Sweets, sweets, sweets – of any and all kinds
Excuse: Nobody’s watching / interested / noticing so no need to make effort and/or report progress / blog / chat

E is for EARLY Bird or Night Owl?
A bit of both – I’m an early bird & DH is a night owl so we’ve compromised with a bit longer day

F is for FURRY FRIENDS...you have?
None – my produce and floral plants are my babies these days

G is for GROCERIES...what do you fill your cart with?
Fresh fruits & veggies, meats, soy milk mostly

H is for HOME...where do you call home?
Valley of the Sun, AZ

I is for INSPIRE...who or what is your roll model/inspiration?
Mom #1 (my Mom aka MomD) & Mom#2 (DH’s Mom aka MomP)

J is for JOB...What do you do for a living?
Work from Home, Volunteer, Homemaker, Family Matriarch

K is for KEEP IT SIMPLE...What's your healthy focus when short on time?
Body Moveable…Move, Move, Move

L is for LOG...Do you use the Nutrition and Fitness trackers?
I maintain a paper logbook and irregularly update the Spark trackers

M is for MARRIED, Single, Involved?
Very happily and fortunately married to a wonderful, wonderful man

N is for NAME...What's the meaning behind your sparkname?
DH’s pet name for me is DOLLFACE – I add the DX as this is my 2nd chance at such happiness

O is for OUNCES...How many ounces of water do you consume on a daily basis?
64-80oz

P is for PRODUCE...How many fruits and veggies do you consume daily?
1-2 fruits at breakfast; 1 fruit, 2 veggies at lunch; 2 veggies, sometimes 1 fruit at dinner

Q is for QUOTE...what's your favorite?
My life motto: I never lose but I win

R is for ROUTINE...Average number of days and minutes you exercise weekly?
3 days; 130-180 mins

S is for STATURE...How tall are you?
My license say 5’6”, DH says 5’4”…I claim 5’5”

T is for TIME...What time zone are you in?
PST / MST depending on time of year

U is for UNWIND...What is your favorite pass time or hobby?
ummmm…..reading, if I can find the time….gardening cause I enjoy it and it needs doing…beading / crafting if I’m feeling particularly selfish with my time

V is for VACATION...If you could travel anywhere, what destination would you choose?
Where would I NOT go is a much smaller list…I enjoy adventure, exploring new places and re-exploring ‘old’ palces

W is for WEIGHT WORKOUT...Do you follow a consistent ST program?
3 days a week @ real gym; not so consistent at home but the schedule calls for 2 days in upstairs gym

X is for "X" MARKS THE SPOT...What do you want to see happen these 12 weeks, other than the scale move?
I’d like to reduce my waist circumference, beef up my arms and strengthen my shoulder / back muscles

Y is for YESTERDAY...Do you dwell on poor choices or allow them to push you forward?
Yesterday is just that – I try to cull a lesson from my misses and move forward knowing nothing will change the past but the future is yet to be written

Z is for ZERO...name one weight loss tool you couldn't live without?
Not certain I understand this one…food scale is useful when I’m trying a new food; diabetic recipe book(s) as we transition to a low-carb diet….what else….????
