My work load exploded today. 4 projects are setting on my desk. All but due like on Friday. NO way...can't do it. Each has it's own issues. I guess being busy is a good thing (knocking on wood here!).
Hubby is sick. I think he has a cold. He's lost his voice.
He did go to the union meeting last night, but didn't tell me a lot about what was said since his voice was shot. I did get a bit though...I guess they have one of best labor lawyers on the west coast to represent them. He told them they might be offered a lesser position if recalled and half the wage they were making. We can't live on that. It wouldn't be worth it to leave his new job for his old. But if they offer him the exact same wage and job..he'll take it in a heart beat. He'll also still help the guys at his new job, he thinks it's only right to do that and not leave them high and dry. The file a grievance about the layoff. I don't know what happens now.
Since he had snacks at the meeting and wasn't feeling well..hubby had miso soup when he got home..and followed that up with chicken noddle soup. I had stopped on my way home and picked up some more Robitussin for him and a quickie dinner (not knowing he was eating at the meeting). So I had that for my dinner. Italian rub pot roast (from Hormel) and some honey glazed carrots (from Green Giant...HOHOHO). After I had Blue Bell Banana Pudding ice cream...YUM!! But just a 1/2 cup (170 calories). I did snack when I got home (BAD ME!) but it's all logged and my weight was down this morning.
Did my workout at lunch. But didn't do one last night. I'm burning about 300 calories a day just at lunch. I really need to burn at least 500 a day though working out.
Well that's it for this Hump Day. Only two more days until the weekend!
