Steak on a Salad?

I have been practicing ETL for a couple of months now and I really enjoy eating so many varieties of veggies and the beans too. I recently discovered soy beans and they are my new favorite right behind kale (which I can't seem to get enough of). But yesterday I was filled with the most curious need for meat. I resisted all last night, but only because we had nothing in the house except veggies. Today DD had fixed herself a small steak that she found in our freezer for her lunch and the leftovers were there waiting for me when I got home from work. 6 little strips of meat calling my name. And I was powerless to resist. They were wonderful even though a bit overcooked and made a lovely addition to my salad. My moment of weakness has passed and I shall embrace the black beans tonight for dinner.
