Just had a 30 min conversation with DS on phone

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Good evening; DS plate is full. He talked reasonably & intelligently with me.
doctor found out that he has a "mass" or something at the end of his esophagus. Doctor said he was going to call him next week with more details about blood work, etc. He says his BM now has white in them. I think that is his liver. I had something like that coming back from India. My doctor told me to wait for 2 months and see if it clears up. He was going to do a GI series- if not.
emoticon This mass could be the cause of his pain. I got a counselor for him. I told him that I would take him for the first couple of times so he can get use to her. emoticon Ex is threatening him again. She even called her old SGT to come and get her Army stuff. He came to house and saw the equipment. He wanted DS to sign for it. He said no he would not sign. It is not his responsibility. I told him good for him. So who knows- I do not trust her at all.
emoticon I have some good news. I went to my original breast center to have my breast checked again with a mammogram and ultrasound. What a difference in care. I was taken off the every six months checkup to a yearly one. emoticon Have a good evening!!

Good your son said no to signing for Army things. He sure does have a lot on his plate! He needs a break from all of it. But that's not how life goes. Hopefully, the esophagus issue is easily treated. I'm sure he's scared. Who wouldn't be? I would think most people would have reached their breaking point a long time ago. Whew, and now the Ex again? Ex's are like old pennies, they keep showing up esp when a child is involved.
Good news on the annual breast exam. Mammograms are just no fun at all! Going less often will give you a needed break too.
You didn't say you went to the gym. But I bet that you did! emoticon
