That's right, fellow sparkies, I am back and with more motivation than ever before! I can't believe that my last blog post was almost THREE years ago. What happened??
Well, lots of real-world stuff happened, mostly good but some rough. I have a great job I love. I met (and started dating) the cutie that I'm about to marry. We had some deaths in the family too. But mostly it was just that everyday entropy that slowly picks away at your fitness regime if you don't watch out. You think "I'll just take an extra rest day....a rest week....just a few extra slices of cake...." and BAM it's 27 days until your wedding and you're huffing & puffing when you walk up a flight of stairs at work. Ugh!!!
I'm determined to start my marriage with the right mindset...a HEALTHY mindset. So I've come back to the Spark community that I know and love. You're the best cheerleaders I've found, and this is when I'll need it!
Let's reset the counter to zero. After being away for FOUR YEARS, I now have 27 days to whip myself into great healthy habits before W-Day. (Notice I said "habits", not "whip myself into shape"...if you've read my past blog entries, you know I'm a big believer in fitness for health, not just looks.)
