This piece is written about a little village in North Devon just north of the town of Okehampton on the banks of the Oke river.

In response to somebody who commented on my Copplestone cha cha as being a little Bernstein-esque and hence a little American in style I have here a piece that is quintessentially English.

The village of Monkokehampton lies three miles (8km) away from Jacobstowe in the opposite direction to the pub so no drunks here, just our quirkiness and our perculiarities that make us British just about what we are.

I hope you all enjoy it

Cheers and love to you all

LOVED IT!! It is the imperfections that make us all unique and so wonderful and entertaining. This was quite visual for me. I could see some of the toys from "Babes is Toyland" - the remake for TV w/ a very young Keano Reeves. Check your spark mail. I'm sending you a piece I think is just delightful and I'd love to see if performed somewhere-came from an internet friend and I hope it's new to you!

emoticon It reminded me of music that might accompany that crazy "Mr. Bean" that we used to watch on television. Just like you explained, "quirky". A fun, funny, happy little tune! Thanks for sharing this one, Trev!
