i met with the RN today to go over my bio numbers. She knows me and that i hate pills and taking artificial chemicals in the name of health. normally fish oil , or some other unregulated supplement is normally suggested to help lower triglycerides. but she told me to instead work on some halthy habits.
i told her about the 5% challenge. she thought that my losing weight and changing eating habits would be the best for me. - WOO HOO. this should motivate me to stay on track.

    It's so nice to hear that a health provider isn't just jumping right to suggesting supplements, but instead working with you on healthy habits. More healthcare folks should know this is a helpful message to give to their patients!
