A blow-out, a long walk, and...yeah.

This is definitely not going to be my best post, but writing is part of my therapy, so here it is.

Had one heck of an afternoon with Daughter. I'm too emotionally drained to write about it right now, but it was a doozy. It brought back all kinds of old baggage for Husband and myself. He actually cried and had to leave the room at one point. We ended the evening on good terms...but we are all worn out.

Before all that, I went for a walk after work today. I went to the High School track again. I decided to walk 2 miles today. I wanted to do it in 40 minutes. On lap 5 it started to rain. By the end of lap 7, it was stopping. Lap 8 I finished. People left the track because it started raining. Even if I had just started walking, I would've stayed. It was actually kind of nice, walking in the rain. It felt good on my skin...and it felt good doing my workout, no matter what. A little rain wasn't going to stop me. I finished my two mile walk in 37 minutes. I kind of wanted to keep going, and maybe even run a little bit, but I had a grain of sand or something in between my toes, so I quit when I finished my second mile. When I got out to my car, I took my shoe off. Sure enough, I had a little blister forming in between my toes. I'm glad I didn't continue, because that would not have ended well, and it probably would've jeopardized workouts over the next few days. I really want to (NEED TO!) start training for my 5K. I need to look up (again) Couch to 5K programs, and get cracking with that.

Clearing up my Facebook friends list tonight. Just trying to cut some fat out of my life wherever I can.

So, here's today's run-down:

SBD -- Phase 1.5, Day 29

Breakfast: turkey breakfast sausage, crunchy peanut butter, almond milk.

Lunch: cabbage and onions with turkey sausage (only ate half of my container), medium apple, baby carrots, ranch dressing, turkey and cheese rollups, skim milk.

Dinner: cabbage and onions with turkey sausage, roasted purple and sweet potatoes.

Snacks: crunchy peanut butter, string cheese (x2).

Dessert: sugar-free chocolate pudding with sugar-free Cool Whip.

Activity: 37-minute walk, 2 miles.

Energy is totally gone. This is all I can muster for today.
