I'm no longer who I was, but I still have a nagging feeling sometimes that makes me want to eat when I'm not hungry, when I'm full, when I'm emotional, just when... That nagging is my "inner fat girl" trying to surface again. Don't get me wrong. I am still a fat girl and yes, she (the inner voice) will always be a part of me, part of who I was, but not part of who I am now. That's what is important. When you take on a new lifestyle, you have to think of yourself as a new creation, not the old one.
You have to start adding possibilities into your life and looking for things you can do, rather than concentrating on what you can't. You should look for things in a healthy lifestyle that you like and love and embrace those things, because a lifestyle should fit you... You should not have to fit a lifestyle.
So if you have an "inner fat voice" telling you unhealthy things to do, put some faith in yourself. You can stumble and you can fall, but you are still a new being in fitness and there is no going back to the old life. Spark Life is so much better. Just change slowly so that your "inner fat person" won't notice and it makes it much easier. At least it did for me.
