In the last 3 weeks....I have gained 3 solid pounds. (I know, I know - STFU skinny beeootch....but if you read my page, you know where I am coming from....so go read it if you haven't).
And I know exactly why... stress (that brought about an lovely eye twitch).... stress... and oh, um....stress!
That and not taking enough time for myself.
Stretching myself thin over work and family extracurriculars (lacrosse and baseball have strated! yay - and hubby does a lot shuttling the boys around 99% of the time) has left little time for FUN and exercise.
Exercise? What is that? Fitting in the conventional exercise on the treadmill is just not going to work right now... I have to think outside the box.
Moving rocks in a back planter that needed a redo because of a communion in 2 weeks was my first foray into the unconventional exercise routine....and BOY and I sore!!! but it's a good sore
My next plan in to pre-prep the exercise gear for the baseball field. Kid is at practice = me walking/running the perimeter while the dad's (including my hubby) all stand around and talk football. I can carve out a solid half hour here.
This is my plan...this is a new start... because SOMETHING has got to give.
I miss moving and feeling YOUNG because I CAN rock it if I set my mind to it. I sometimes feel like the girl from the 5Ks 2 years ago disappeared into thin air....I aim to get her back this year.
My spakrfriend OAKBORN and I are planning to meet at the Boston Marathon next year to run the 5K.... I have to get ready for that... better start now!! LOL
