And baby makes 5...

Monday, April 21, 2014

So as promised in my last blog I have major news to share! This winter has been a crazy one for us. One financial problem after another and to put the cherry on top my fiancÚ lost his job at the beginning of March making an already hard situation even harder. A few weeks after this news we found out we were expecting our 3rd child. Getting the happy news during a difficult time made it a little hard to feel the joy one would normally expect but I am trying to stay positive about everything working out. Hard to do when after putting a new transmission into his truck a few months back it is in the shop again to get a few more hundred dollars worth of repairs and my own vehicle needs over a grand worth of work put into it as well. Hoping these trials will be over soon and things will even out again so we can start getting back on track and plan for all things baby :)

So the details! As of tomorrow I am 11 weeks. I get to go in next Monday for my first ultrasound so that will be fun to see the baby. We have two girls already my fiancÚ is hoping he will finally get his boy and I am rooting against him in hopes of another girl since I have a house full of girl stuff already! Other than some food aversions to some of my favorite things I am feeling pretty good, mild nausea here and there but nothing to bad. I will be sticking around throughout this pregnancy in hopes of staying on track I am hoping to continue to eat as clean as possible throughout and continue my turbo fire/chalean extreme programs as long as possible and then switch to my prenatal dvds and walking if they get to be too much. Some of you may know that I had gestational diabetes with both of my previous pregnancies so my goal for this time around is to stay healthy enough that I will not need any medication so eating healthy and staying fit are extra important to me.

I did start a healthy pregnancy support group on facebook last week to help keep me motivated throughout and to find a good group of ladies to go through the next few months with :) If anyone else is interested in joining us please send me a message and I will get you added, it is a private group so no one on your fb would see that you are a part of it or what you post.

Omgosh E congrats!! I know that things will work out for you guys. A baby is such a blessing! =) I also had gestational with my boy and I didn't need to get on meds because I was able to control it with food and diet but it sucked having to check my sugar FOUR times a day! The FB support group will be awesome for you. Stay in touch!
