Here I am at week 5. Those of you that have been following my blog know that I have been working hard on my fitness on a holistic level
. last week went great with my workouts. I did 2 hours of heavy yard work
Saturday in the place of a workout but had pizza when my daughter's friends were over. Yesterday I had sweet potato bites. The problem there is that I didn't have any healthy food in the house.
Part of it was money but the other part was time, exhaustion and stress. My daughter is graduating next month
, she has prom
, senior project, and a big birthday coming up (she will be 18). I also tutor, am looking for a job, scraping for money
where I can get it, and I am in school myself
. All of this with fibromyagia and trying to stay healthy. Pain can cause more exhaustion.
The point is that stress plays a role in our fitness plans no matter how well laid
. It is important to keep going though. To keep pushing with your eye on the goal of fitness. Things may seem rocky as you deal with life's stresses but if you keep returning to your personal goals you can achieve
! I write this as I prepare to exercise
before taking my daughter to school. It is a lighter workout because of the heavy yard work this weekend. I know with my fibro I need to respect my body's needs. The goal is wellness not just hard workouts to pump me up (it is difficult to keep reminding myself). Wish me luck on week 5 and I wish you luck on your own fitness goals.
