Revamping my exercise routine.

I got my blood work results today. I am the picture of perfect health. With two minor things I do not need to be concerned with at this time.

- My blood sugar level was a 5.5 and they start watching at 5.7. The PA said the numbers do not move fast and for me to not be worried about it now. We will compare numbers next year. In meantime, try to eat a smile snack with fiber and carbs to keep me from waking in the morning starved and causing my sugar to spike.
- My B12 was not low, but not in the middle either. Be said I should not be worried and does not see a need to add supplements to my lifestyle.

He said to keep doing what I am doing and NOT to gain weight. To maintain or lose the last few pounds.

With that being said. I am still limited to my physical,part of life.

I did got to the sports dr about my knee. He wants me to get an MRI looking for a meniscus tear in the cartilage. I do not want the MRI out of fear of the results. I also need to put the money towards ds's procedure he needs this summer.

Dh told me to call ask and we will go from there. Depending on the results it could be as simple as PT or more sever cases surgery...REALLY!!!

I need to exercise, so I have dusted off my stability ball and my hand weights. I might was well tone my arms and work on my inner thigh muscles and core at the same time.

I am trying not to get discouraged. I thought I found my motivation after hearing stories of the people who lost limbs in the Boston Bombing and of course the men and women in our armed forces. A hurt knee is NOT the same, but it is my current hurdle.

That is all the story wrote today for me. Besides my hormones are all over the place as my TOM is about three days late. It does NOT mean anything. You need to do something to worry about a late TOM. For me it just means the cramps are going to be TERRIBLE.

Plus, some how I got roped into Saturday Easter Vigil (2hr mass) and 9am Mass for Easter Sunday. I am going to be tired..LOL All because my dd1 wants to see and experience a special mass like Easter Vigil.

Off to find a snack and rest.

    It sounds like you have everything under control to keep yourself on track for a healthy lifestyle!

    I have the Easter Vigil and 10:15 Mass on Easter. And our service on Saturday last year was almost 3 hours. This year our pastor is only doing 3 of the 7 readings. But I cantor tonight and tomorrow night, and only sing for the other two Masses. Will be a busy weekend. Plus my son and DIL are coming in town Friday night for Easter! Glad I took Monday off work! emoticon

    have you a mini trampoline,love.walking and doing exercises on that can be easier on the knee as the trampoline acts as like a shock absorber.swimming is also a good one or doing aqua arobics as the water like the trampoline also supports and acts as shock absorber.nordic walking (one that i do alot)is also good as i say where there is a will there is a way.i am waiting for a knee replacement as well as thig realignmentbut despite the pain i manage to get some exercise can do this love i have every faith in you.enjoy you easter. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
