Well I had a very eventful weekend.
Last week I was sick with a sinus infection. I would take a day off and then the next day feel great. I would workout and as soon as I finish I would feel horrible. This pattern kept repeating. I decided on Friday to take the entire weekend off working out to try and heal.
However, Sunday morning my son woke up with what looked like pink eye. So we rush to the walk-in clinic. Due to the rush - I didn't really eat breakfast.
Turns out my son not only has pink-eye but ear infections. So we went to the Walmart pharmacy to fill the prescription. We grabbed some groceries while we waited. Then my son and husband went to the van and I went to pick up the prescription. As the pharmacist is telling me about my sons medication I passed out. Right there. In a store full of people. One second I remember talking with the pharmacist - the next thing I remember is waking up on the floor with all these people around me. I didn't feel the fall or anything. Very weird.
There's a doctor's office in our walmart so the doctor rushed out and took me into one of the rooms. Everything looked fine and he simply felt it was a combination of my sinus infection/cold and having not eaten breakfast. (It was only 9am and we hadn't been up long...I don't feel I should have passed out simply from not eating a full breakfast.)
And wow - you loose consciousness in a store and you have to fill out this report with the store manager. And I had to stay there for awhile until they knew I was okay to leave. Yesterday the doctor called me in the morning to make sure I was okay and last night the Walmart store manager called me to see if I was okay.
Regardless, I stayed home from work yesterday since my son is sick and rested. I decided something isn't right and perhaps I pushed my body too much last week with being sick and doing P90X3...not to mention I am doing the doubles calender for P90X3.
So this week I am taking it easy with some Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire. Nothing longer then 30 mins and I am toning down the volume. I plan to pick P90X3 back up next week.
I talked with my family doctor and he said that a bad sinus infection can cause light headedness and to take it easy. Make sure I eat every 2 - 3 hours and take it easy.
See normally I eat every 2 - 3 hours and have breakfast right away when I get up. I was just in a panic over my son and left with only taking a bite of a muffin for breakfast.
So rest up week - weekend off on account of Easter traveling/visiting and then back at it next week.
