Last years' Challenge was a Duathlon the first day in Palm Harbor then a 5K the next day in Dunedin!

This year's challenge was doing a 10K, 5K, & 1Miler, one right after the other! You can do the challenge or choose the races you want to run! Oh yeah, we did the Challenge!

Suzanne, Xanadu Race Management Director, always comes up with the best fun run events!

Jen,my run partner, worked the Challenge Check-in Table before our races.

My Sis had come in from DC to do the 5K with D. They went to get a bite before the 5K. D caught us at the first mile of our 10K!

Jen had trained light for this event so I tried to keep a reasonable pace. I started to find it was hard to maintain a slower pace. I asked Jen how she felt and stepped it up a bit. When we crossed the finish, we had a new PR by 3.5 minutes.

We had a few minutes for the 10K to finish then went out on the 5K!

I was able to capture D crossing the 5K finish line!

DSSECRETS & LEC22041 had a fun & successful 5K!

We crossed the finish line with a respectable time, and got ready to kill the 1Miler!
One of our run club teammates decided to joined us. Jen stayed with her pace as she was starting to show a bit wear. She told me to go on, and I finished strong.
This time D caught me at the 1Miler Finish!

Suzanne announced I took 1st in my 10K Age Group...

..and pointed me to the podium!

Then brought me back as Challenger Top Finisher in my Age Group! I was joined by other Age Group winners. Very cool!

So a few of us, composed from 3 run groups we belonged to, decided to celebrate at Dunedin Smokehouse. We set a record for largest table on the patio! YES!

What a kickoff to St Patrick's Day! That's how we roll in Paradise!
