I've been having the hardest time getting my nutrition under control, and kicking my exercise into high gear. I'm counting down to my vacation and haven't made much progress. I've been concentrating more on strength training than I have in the past, and I've come to really love it! I'm definately seeing great changes in my body from this, but it isn't helping with the fat reduction.
But my back is giving me a heck of a time in trying to get going on the treadmill again. The treadmill is very jarring to my back and I have to build up my time on it, and the amount of time I can jog. Once I'm used to it, it's a breeze. I could kick myself for ever letting that lapse and having to start over again. It's been 2 1/2 months since I've started using the treadmill again, and my back just isn't cooperating.
The reason I'm a dodo bird though, is that it just occurred to me that I could be getting my cardio in other ways. I want to be a runner sooooo bad, so that's what I focus on. Plus it burns a lot of calories. But right now my focus HAS to change to getting in shape for my vacation and doing whatever it takes to get there. Those swim suits are waiting for me....
