Concentrate on the Positives -- and let the negatives go!
Just that one little sentence could turn your whole life around. If all you thought about were the positives in your life there would be no stress eating! After all, you are concentrating on all the good things, it's when the negatives occupy your thoughts that the bad feelings come and you eat to overcome it.
Not only that, but when you are concentrating on the positives you have a much happier outlook on life. That means you will have more energy, you'll sleep better, be more productive, your choices will be better and there will be no depression!
So come on, there are lots of positives to concentrate on! Here are a few of mine:
I slept soundly last night, woke up full of energy!
Got up at 6:45, sure I wanted to snuggle in bed awhile longer, but I didn't!
Got in a 45 minute walk and accomplished it all by 7:30 a.m., normally I would have still been in bed sleeping, but now I've already got half my steps in!
I had a very healthy protein smoothie for my breakfast! I love them!
No coyotes following us on our walk this morning!
