Update after 120 days

I received so many encouraging comments on my 60 day progress report that I thought I would post another update. 120 days was officially a few days ago, but today is exactly 4 months since I started this journey, and some things happened over the weekend that I wanted to include in my accomplishments!
First, this morning I ran in my very first race. I did the Iron Girl 5K, and I finished with a new personal record of 35 minutes and 41 seconds (my previous record was almost a minute longer, at 36:38)!
Another big milestone this weekend was that I just barely sneaked into the 180's on the scale at 189.87 yesterday. I honestly can't even remember the last time I was in the 180's!
I started this journey at a snug size 20 and (I know this because I just bought new jeans yesterday!) I'm currently at a comfortable size 16! Here is an updated progress picture which includes a (somewhat blurry) picture of me trying on a dress for a cruise next month:
I get comments from friends at work fairly regularly now. Several ladies have asked how I've done it. They're always disappointed when I tell them I'm doing it the old-fashioned way of eating right and exercising regularly. Everyone wants a magic pill or something (I wouldn't mind that myself, but it doesn't work that way!!)
Ultimately, though, I just FEEL so much better and so much healthier. I continue to find muscles I didn't know I had, and that's always an exciting discovery!
