Palm Sunday can be a big deal for Christians. It is always the Sunday before Easter. I am celebrating (because I am lucky enough to have the day off) by going to church, out to lunch and then car shopping. I know car shopping sounds like an odd way to celebrate an important religious holiday, but as some of you know, I'm really not religious by normal standards, I just really love Jesus. So, wish me luck. We sold our "good" car to my sister two months ago because we needed the money, and have been down to one 1991 Toyota Camry since then. The Toyota is good, for a 23 year old car, but it has no air conditioning, cruise control or power anything. It also rattles like a beast and I am just not sure it is going to be able to make the 80 miles round trip drive back and forth to my work everyday much longer. My husband and I do not have very good credit, so it will be a miracle if we can manage to find anything we want, in our price range, without overpaying in interest. But I believe in miracles, and we need one today!!!
I uploaded the SP food tracker to my phone this morning, for FREE!!!! Last time I uploaded it, it wasn't free. I can't believe that couple of bucks savings made me so happy! As one SP friend said on her blog, it really is the little things in life.
I have really enjoyed catching up on some of your blogs. I missed you guys so much. You are truly the best community I have ever been a part of. I thought of you all so often over the last four month. It is such a dear thing to be a part of a community that offers so much unconditional love and support. I hope you are all having wonderful weekends. I only get every third weekend off, the rest of the time my days off fall during the week, so I've been making the best of these two days off with my husband. Life can be good, if we just focus on what we have with eyes of appreciation and forget about all the things we think we don't have.
Love you guys. Hugs.
