Ok ok....I'm gonna talk about my workout. emoticon

Two weeks ago before I started this next program of exersises, one of the many I struggled with as "too heavy" were reverse cable cross overs. This is done standing facing one of those all-purpose machines. I cross my arms and grab the handles above my shoulders, then pull the cables across and down in front of my body. (Clear as mud, right?) It works my shoulders, shoulder blades and arms.

So two weeks ago 10 pounds on the weights was challenging enough, and 20 pounds was un-doable. As in moan, groan, complain, struggle,.....manage to raise the weights maybe a whole two inches. Certainly not the entire follow-through.

Today I realised 20 pounds was happening! Three sets of 12 reps in good form and follow through, by the 10th rep my muscles were saying they knew I was up to something and maybe a 13th or 14th rep in that set might've been un-doable. I was quite thrilled with my progress.

I like feeling this way because I'm all revved up to go again on Monday. Before I was getting discouraged and wondering what I'd gotten myself in for.

    This is why I love strength training. The results seem more tangible than in cardio.
