The weather is warming up and a couple of days we have either come very close or actually hit 90F. We have the doors and windows open and the ceiling fans running. A lot of our meals are being cooked on the grill with plenty of leftovers to have with big salads.
Last month I was given some turkish spices from Istanbul by a friend who was going north of the border and knew she couldn't take them across. Customs on both sides of the border have tightened up their inspections and there are steep fines if you are caught with fruit, veggies, eggs or even dairy. No more bringing yoghurt or my favorite kale down :((
I put the spices to good use - I marinated chicken breast in greek yoghurt and both the turkish spice mixes. One was mild and one was hot, not sure which one was which, so a mix seemed a good idea..
We love our grilled veggies kebabs - mushrooms, peppers, zucchini and red onion drizzled olive oil, garlic, herbs and some red pepper flakes.

We have been playing pickle ball 2-3 times a week and are really getting into the game. It's so nice once you get out of the hopeless stage and hit most of the shots and even score some points here and there :)
After dealing with some hormonal bloat last week, this morning my weight was back down again to my pre-party weight. My goal is to keep it there for a few days and then back to losing again come Monday.
