We went to Nashville to the Women's NCAA Basketball Championship. Our seats were way, way, way up high:
One of the highlights of our trip was seeing Danielle Bradbury and Cassadee Pope (Winners of The Voice) perform:
Cassadee also did a great rendition of the national anthem prior to the game.
We also saw The Parthenon, the Frist (Art) Museum,
(I took the picture) and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Honestly, even though I'm not big on country music, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate a lot of meals out, but I did pretty well over all. I'm proud that I got up early every morning and worked out in the motel's fitness room for 70 minutes each day, running twice and elliptical once. Here's a shot of downtown Nashville:
So, I'm glad I went but glad to be home now. The dog is really glad we're back. My daughter did a great job housesitting and even our baby guppy is in good shape. Won't see the grandkids until tomorrow morning, but looking forward to that. And I missed my SparkFriends a lot. Glad to be back here with you, too!!
Edit: All these pictures (except Frist) were taken by my stepdaughter. She's the woman in the Frist picture and a wonderful person. I didn't take a camera.
