Interesting Places In Turkey

Wednesday, April 09, 2014

The terrain in Turkey has much diversity with flat lands and mountains, lake's, ocean front and hot areas. It is about the size of Texas but there are many more people in that small area. The people are very hard working and many live like they did 200 years ago. You see lots of sheep with Shepards out in the fields. There are olive, orange, fig and many other varieties of trees on every street. There's an abundance of crafts people who make rugs, ceramic, cotton products, tea, coffee and fine jewelry. Unfortunately many of the souviners are imported from China. My DH bought a Trojan Horse statue that was wrapped with a cardboard box that had Made in China on it.

I am tired still and trying to get well but I have lots of stories and pictures to share when I feel better.

Have a great Hump Wednesay, love ya!

Everything is made in China these days, we need to get away from that! On House Hunters International I have seen much of Turkey and on the Travel Channel it looks like a great place to visit~
