Week 30

Wow, 30 weeks. Kind of makes me feel more depressed. I feel like I should have lost a lot more weight than I have by now.

Apparently I gained 2.3 kilos this week..........

Not really sure what to put. I've been eating more wheat than usual, makes my digestion feel slow. I really need to stay away from it.

I've been able to exercise in the mornings again - which is great. Trying for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on the cross-trainer, plus walking during the day. I'd really like to fit in some Insanity during the week as well.

Here's hoping for a better result next week.

    Meh, real life happens. You can't always have ideal weeks where you eat perfectly and have enough time to work out as much as you'd like. Going up and down is normal. Your body is adjusting and changing. You're in this for the long haul, just keep plugging along.

You can do it! Persistence is more important than perfection.

    We all start out enthusiastic and optimistic on enthusiastic. Along the way, our initial enthusiasm wears thin. Wrong thinking often leads to wrong eating. A couple wrong turns later and many of us end up lost in "The Pit of Despair." The danger of The Pit of Despair is that in hindsight you look back at your journey and in hindsight, see the path not taken. Now you've adding a case of the "If Only's". If Only, I had stayed on track, I would be miles ahead and receiving the rewards I deserve. Please don't go there. So fire up your enthusiasm, rev your engines and shift to a lower gear for the hills up, ahead.
You are doing just fine. Everyone's journey has it's ups and downs. Picking ourselves up and avoiding all or nothing thinking is one of the lessons we each need to learn. Just start walking the view up ahead is beautiful, they tell me!
