Hello Everyone,

Cricket is still holding his own. Thank you so much for your prayers. LESLIE asked about my sister, Shelby. She is doing really well. She's lost about 10 pounds since she went to the hospital. From there she went to Rehab which is probably where she lost the weight because she didn't much like the food there. Her husband, Ray, attends my zumba classes at the YMCA, and today she came with him, just to watch. She isn't able to get up and dance. I wish she could because she would have been right in there with us. emoticon She used to teach Disco Dancing, then Line Dancing, and her and Ray used to be great ballroom dancers.

Shelby is 14 years older than me. At the class today, one of the ladies asked me which one of us was the oldest! I didn't know whether to feel bad for myself or to feel good for Shelby. emoticon I asked, "Well, which one of us do YOU think is the oldest? She said, "Shelby looks like she might be a year or two older than you." I've got to remember to tell Shelby what the lady said because I know it will make her feel good. I am still not sure how it makes me feel! emoticon

So I am out of here for now, and I will be back tomorrow.

Thank you again for your prayers for Cricket.

HUGS
Pam

emoticon to your sis Shelby for the weightloss! I think in gaining now that I'm stressed out from not being able to do my daily yoga ritual :'(

Any tips on reducing stress while being forced to keep left foot constantly elevated is appreciated. Due to non use if left foot and pretty much while left leg I've now developed itbs. Iliotibial band syndrome. My right leg is strong but left is getting limp and weak even though I try to do left leg lifts. It's very difficult and for some reason my left knee has a lot of scabs, bruises and scars while my toes are all purplish blue. :(

Did you get my email?
Xoxo

Good grief! That is not a question that one would generally ask!

Glad Shelby is getting out with her DH and able to observe your class. Hope she gets to the point where she can participate.

Glad to hear no change in Cricket. Prayers!

Glad to hear that Shelby is doing well. Hopefully she will continue to mend with Ray by her side! As for Cricket, my prayers are with you both.

I find that many people are not good at guessing ages and most people don't have siblings with that age span between them so she was probably assuming that you were closer in age. My brother is 15 years younger than me but got gray hair in his 30s and my hair is still not completely gray at 61.

Thanks for the info on Shelby! I'm glad she came to watch a class at least. That's a funny story about 'who is older' - I can imagine how you felt! I was almost 9 years older than my last husband and was once asked if I was his mother! I was not happy.

I'm glad Cricket is still OK. My prayers continue.

Have a great day, Pam!

Hugs, Leslie emoticon
